Quick Start Guide

• Please download the PhotoFast ONE backup app before using PhotoPower.

• Turn off iCloud Photo Library or any other cloud‐sync photo services beforehand.

• This product does NOT back up cloud data; it only backs up data stored locally on your device.

 

Product Overview

PhotoPower Memory Charger combines a 45 W GaN fast charger with an internal microSD card reader, allowing automatic photo, video, contact, and calendar backup while your device is charging. The foldable AC plug and compact cube design make it a perfect travel companion.

Installation & Charging‑Backup Mode

1. Insert a microSD card (up to 2 TB) into the spring‑loaded slot.

2. Plug PhotoPower into an AC outlet.

3. Connect your phone/tablet to the Type‑C port with an original or USB‑IF certified cable.

4. Launch the PhotoFast ONE app and grant access to Contacts, Calendar, Photos, and Notifications.

5. Backup starts automatically every time the charger is connected while the app runs in background.

Installation & Cable‑Free Backup Mode

For Type‑C phones and tablets that support USB OTG:

1. Download PhotoFast ONE from Google Play.

2. Disable any power‑saving or battery optimization on Samsung devices.

3. Connect PhotoPower to the device with a Type‑C to Type‑C cable (no AC required).

4. Follow on‑screen prompts to select “USB Drive” as the storage path and tap Allow.

5. Unmount "USB Storage" before removing the device (Samsung: My Files > USB Storage > ⋮ > Eject).

Eco Charging (Battery Protection) Mode

Tap the Eco‑Charging icon in the PhotoFast ONE app (iOS only) to switch to low‑power charging. This reduces heat build‑up and slows battery aging, extending battery lifespan.

Downloading PhotoFast ONE App

iOS: Open the App Store, search for “PhotoFast ONE”, then download.

Android: Open Google Play, search for “PhotoFast ONE”, then download.

Grant all requested permissions the first time you launch the app to ensure full backup functionality.

iOS App – Simple Mode Dashboard

• One‑Tap Backup: backs up Contacts, Calendar, and Camera Roll to the external card.

• Photo Viewer & Restore: browse backups by year/month and restore selected items.

• External Storage: shows card capacity and opens the file manager.

• Backup Stats: displays total items backed up and the date of last backup.

iOS App – Settings

Automatic Backup: run backup whenever external storage is connected.

Background Backup: continue backup even when the device is locked.

Progress Notifications: choose the interval for background progress pop‑ups.

Simple Mode: choose Simple or Advanced UI at startup.

Security: 4‑digit App Lock and Device Lock options; remember your PIN! Formatting the card will erase the PIN if forgotten.

Android App – Charging Backup

After installing the app and granting file permissions:

1. Insert microSD card.

2. Connect PhotoPower to AC, then connect your phone with the original cable.

3. Choose PhotoFast ONE as the default app for this USB device and tap “Always”.

4. Backup starts automatically while charging.

Android App – Cable‑Free Backup

1. With PhotoPower connected via Type‑C cable, open the hamburger menu and set the backup path to “USB Drive”.

2. Tap Allow to grant access. Backup begins automatically.

3. To avoid data loss, unmount PhotoPower before unplugging.

Android App – Simple Mode Dashboard

One‑Tap Backup backs up Contacts, Calendar, Photos, Music, and Documents.

Photo Viewer & Restore lets you browse by year/month and restore items.

External Storage shows card usage and opens the file manager.

Android App – Settings

• Automatic Backup and Background Backup options identical to iOS.

• File Types: choose Contacts, Calendar, Photos, Music, Documents, microSD Backup.

• Security options to show locked files, rename with extension, clear cache, and format external storage.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1 : Which backup mode should I use?

A : Type‑C devices (iPhone 15/16, iPad, Android) support both charging and cable‑free backup. Lightning iPhones (14 and earlier) support charging backup only.

Q2 : Does PhotoPower include internal storage?

A : No. Please insert a genuine microSD card (4 GB–2 TB). 

Q3 : What data is backed up automatically?

A : Local Photos/Videos, Contacts, and Calendar. Cloud items are not backed up. 

Q4 : Will backups resume if interrupted?

A : Yes. The app detects progress and continues from the last file; duplicates are skipped.

Q5 : How long does a backup take?

A : About 6,000–8,000 photos per hour at 30 MB/s (speed varies with card and cable). 

Warranty & Safety Information

Warranty Period: 1 year from purchase (hardware only; excludes card data).

Free repair is offered for manufacturing defects under normal use.

The warranty becomes void if the product is modified, label is removed, or damage is caused by accident, misuse, or natural disaster.

 

Safety Notes:

• Use in –10 °C to 35 °C ambient temperature.

• Store in –20 °C to 80 °C environment; altitude below 2,000 m.

• Do not use with damaged housing or cable to avoid fire or electric shock.

• Keep away from moisture and unplug with dry hands.
